After a failed attempt at making indie and alternative music. The project began when Kamden decided to give music an try, inviting Easton to join and soon introducing Kamden to bass,. The two began shaping the band’s sound, their lineup eventually expanded to include friends Ben and later joining Anthony in a older local band called Potthum. After the ending of Potthum, the band decided to switch to something they all wanted to do and have in common with, Emo Music.

During the interview, the band talked about their wide range of musical influences; from screamo to old-school rock. Their inspirations include My Chemical Romance, Hawthorne Heights, Underoath, As Blood Runs Black, and even the lyrical depth of Bob Dylan, giving their music an unpredictable and dynamic sound.

Recently, Once More recorded their EP Your Favorite Regret with Nicholas Garza, one of Texas’s most respected producers. All four tracks were recorded in a single, grueling 20-hour session. Transitioning from live tracking to single tracking pushed the band’s limits, but the result was a polished, hard-hitting EP that captures both their growth and grit.
