DCMAM started their journey in the summer of '24 with Akira (Bass) and Diego (Guitar) looking for musicians to jam with. Shortly after they linked up with drummer Atticus and an unnamed original vocalist who is no longer in the band.

Their current vocalist is Mat who replaced the original shortly after starting. Solidifying their flavor of grungegaze was the addition of lead guitarist Dax who they met at a local show.

Progressing quickly they debuted at The Alley, a now defunct venue, only 3 months after starting. Impressive. A thrilling show with a solid turnout, they moved even more fans in their direction playing shows at Vibes Underground and The Rock Box.

Their debut single "Desperate" with the help of Producer Nathan Limon received good play and opened the door that their feet had been prying at for a few months.

Consistently playing shows and acquiring fans and experience under the belt, their subsequent tracks "POV" and "in the end/all alone" were released in late '24 and early '25 respectively.

Incorporating lyrics touching on topics of addiction, heartbreak, and the banalities of human life in an earnest and touching way.

With guitar tones and writing reminiscent of Nirvana, Pavement, and a myriad of other classic grunge bands that blends with Mat's decidedly powerful and creative vocal techniques. Akira's bass lines serve the songs and add an extra layer of rhythm that complements drummer Atticus' tight Grohl inspired grooves.

Effortlessly switching from slacker rock, acoustic grunge, and ethereal gaze the band plans on leaning towards a more screamo and post-hardcore inspired sonic flavor. A currently untitled EP is in the works and they plan on realeasing said EP and a future album some time this year.

While we wait, eat some tic-tacs, stay up after 12am, and go spin some Don'tCallMeAfterMidnight!
